How to Get Free Backlinks

How to get backlinks is something every website owner has to place high on the priority list. The problem us face is how do we do that? If you browse around the web, you will find all sorts of vendors hawking links you can purchase. That is one strategy to stay away from.

Unfortunately , the truth of the matter is that building backlinks to your website takes time and effort.  I know there are a lot of people out there who offer an easy solution for a price.  I agree that there are some investments that are beneficial, but when it comes to links, it is better to put in the time.
I don’t think many people succeed in life without some help from other people. Networking is part of how to build a business. You help others succeed in their endeavors, and vice versa. It is the some online. One of the eye openers to me was the fact that there really are a lot of similarities in how you build your business.

Build Backlinks by Being Social

Sales 101 teaches that the art of sales is 80% listening. On your website, you “listen” with your comment session. With WordPress, when someone leaves a comment on your site, your site links to their website if they provided that information, and if you have enabled it on your site. It can get even better if you install the Comment Luv plugin, and that allows them to link to a specific blog on their website.
That is all well and good, but the great news is that it works in reverse as well. When you leave a comment on someone’s site and include your hyperlink, a link is created back to your site if they have enabled trackbacks.  As a matter of fact, some people are allowing you to create the link back to your site using your kewwords. It doesn’t get much better than that!

It takes time. but finding other blogs in your niche and reading and commenting on them is worth the investment and effort it takes. You will start to get to know others who are interested in your niche, and as you develop relationships, you begin to reap the benefits. When you leave thoughtful comments that start a conversation, the hyperlink you leave will deliver interested people to your website.

As you read others blog, you may want to mention or quote them on your blog and provide a link back. A great strategy is to let them know that you are going to link to their blog and ask if they want to provide you with anchor text for that link.

Recentlly, on one of my other blogs, I had a commenter who used their keywords as their link. That is a great idea. You can see for yourself ; car vinyls . They sell vinyls of all types for your car. In your anchor text, you want to use your keywords as well.

I took a great class on linking by Suzanne Myers .Easy Link Love – 13 Week Link Building Class . She has done a great job with the course, and she covers the gambit on ways to build valuable, natural links to your site. It will take time, so be patient, but slow and steady wins the race, remember the story of the tortoise and the hare. We all know who won.
