How To Speed Up Firefox Browser

Firefox is the first browsers that challenged IE (Internet Explorer). It's the most popular browser that had 450 million users around the world, you can download Firefox free from here. Method 1 : Configure Firefox settings

1. Open Firefox
2. Go to the address bar and type in : about:config
3. You will see some warning just click I'll be careful,I promise! button
4. Search for network.http.pipelining and set it to True by double click on it
5. Search for network.http.pipelining.ssl and set it to True by double click on it
6. Search for network.http.proxy.pipelining and set it to True by double click on it
7. Search for network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and set it to 8
8. Restart your firefox browser
9. Enjoy!!!

Method 2 : Other Tips & Tricks

1. Delete browsing history

Open Firefox >>> Menu >>> History >>> Clear Recent History >>> Change to Everything and then click Clear Now. You can also delete browsing history by the shortcut key too, just by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Delete and it will pop up the history eraser.

2. Use Fasterfox extension

This extension is very useful for browser. This can help Firefox speed up and load page faster than before

3. Disable/Remove add-ons

You can remove or disable add-ons that you don't need from it. Just go to the Firefox menu >>> Add-ons >>> Remove or disable add-ons you don't use. After doing this step your speed will increase by 20%.

4. Disable Firefox remember history

Open Firefox >>> Menu >>> Options >>> Privacy >>> Change "Remember history" to "Never remember history"

5. Remove toolbars you don't need

Sometime toolbars can automatically install on your browsers when you install a new program. If you have installed useless toolbars that you don't use, you can uninstall it by going to Control Panel.
