6 Incredible Email Subject Line Examples

“Get your emails opened, get your emails read and get your emails responded to”, whether the people are buying something or enquiring about your business.

Before jumping to the 6 email subject line examples that really works, we will look at

Email Open Rate Secret

Most people think that the email subject line is the most important factor for getting their emails opened.

But it’s actually the second most important thing. The first most important factor for getting emails opened is….

WHO?

What does that mean is, does the person you are emailing know and trust you? Do they know and trust the sender of the email?

Because it doesn’t matter how good your email subject line is if the person you are emailing have never heard of you. Then they will be very suspicious and instead of opening your email, they are probably going to delete it.

SPAM is a huge problem.

So, the first most important step is that you have a relationship with (at least some kind of relationship) the person you are emailing. Maybe they have subscribed to your newsletter. Maybe they have opted-in on your online opted page. Maybe they just have requested for more information.

Whatever it is, you make sure that they know and trust you.

So, here are 6 email subject line examples

#1 Main benefit they want (i.e. Make money online)

I am taking an example of make money online. You can use these template

[VIDEO] How to make money online?
7 ways to make money online.
7 steps to make money online.
These are all great email subject line templates you can use. You just insert the main benefit that your reader wants and you would see a good open rate.

Also, having the word VIDEO (especially in CAPS and at the beginning of your subject line) is very effective at getting your email opened.

But make sure that the content of your email actually relates to the subject.

#2 You are not alone…

Now, believe it or not, you are not alone is an email subject line has achieved incredible 90 % open rate in different email campaigns in different markets.

So, Why does this work so well?

I believe, because it relates to people’s general feeling of wanting to belong in this world. We all want to belong to something. We all want to feel wanted and so when you sending the email with the subject line “you are not alone”, you are basically saying you belong and for some weird reason, this actually is really effective.

You make sure that you relate that subject line to what you have said in rest of your email.

#3 Hey…

It has been very effective. In fact, it’s been responsible for achieving up to 30 percent open rates from the people we send it to and the reason It worked so well is, you may have guessed is, it seems very informal almost like an email from a friend. It also doesn’t really tell you much about what’s in the email. So, people become curious. What is in the email and they click on the email.

So, Again Hey is been proven to be very effective and you can relate that to anything in the rest of  your email. It is very general and very easy.

#4 Watch This Video

This is effective because in general, people love watching videos. In fact, that’s why YouTube and other video websites are very popular.

If you have a relationship with the person who is receiving an email then they will trust what you recommend. By saying, “Watch this video”, you actually directing them to do so.

It also works because it has a word “This”. “This” is very effective in copywriting because it invokes the natural curiosity we all have.

This subject line is not very descriptive. We are not saying what’s inside the video even what the video’s about.

It’s been responsible for getting up to 26 percent open rate, which is huge because it makes people curious about what’s in that video and we love to watch videos.

#5 You’ll love this

Now this assumes liking because if you have a relationship with your reader and you said, You’ll love this, they will trust your recommendation.

Again we’re not explaining anything. We are using the word “This“, to invoke their curiosity and will make a recommendation about something. It’s very effective because it invokes a curiosity in people, they just have to open it and find out what the email is about.

#6 Have you seen this?

This is very similar to “You’ll love this” because again it invokes their curiosity by using the word “This“.

It also uses social proofs. They will wonder if other people have seen this and maybe they are the last to see this. So, they will check it out to find out exactly what this is.

Again, it’s very informal, so works very well.

Finally,

You have learned about 6 email subject lines that really work in getting your emails opened, getting your emails read and getting your readers to take action. So, do apply those in your email campaigns now.
